We also arrange finance for conversions, whether it be from commercial to residential, or vice versa. We are seeing an increased number of Permitted Developments, mainly converting offices into flats. These often provide high levels of profits for the developer.

Many of our clients are purchasing properties that are considered unfit for mortgage purposes. They often require new bathrooms and kitchens and sometimes the clients are adding extensions. There tends to be two types of clients; firstly, the Buy to Let Landlord who will enjoy an immediate capital growth and an improved rental income and secondly, the property trader, who acquires property, refurbishes it and then sells it on for a profit.
